Natalia's Art Studio

Working from her home studio nestled in the Western Australian coast, Natalia Achino’s art is a reflection of her unique upbringing.

With roots in the northern regions of Italy, Natalia was exposed to the cultural and artistic heritage of her native country from an early age. This Italian influence forms the foundation of her current work, hinting at her love for classical art forms and her quest to find beauty in the details.

After moving to Perth, Natalia immersed herself in its thriving art and calligraphy community: organising meetings and contributing to local exhibitions. It was here that she started experimenting with new techniques: combining the softness of pastels and the delicacy of watercolours with the strong impressions of acrylics and natural pigments.

In 2017, Natalia took the leap by starting her own art practice and building her home studio. Today, her work is a constant experimentation with different mediums, seeking to capture in new ways timeless moments of beauty inspired by her home’s flowers and the historical heritage of her past.
