Awakening

Created as part of the “Art of Letters: Symbiosis III” exhibition, Awakening reflects a turning point shaped by a near-death experience that brought a renewed sense of clarity and direction. The work carries a feeling of release and upward movement, as if something once held has begun to open and rise, marking a shift into a more conscious sense of self. It speaks to a moment of rebirth, where perception is softened and reformed, echoing the words within the piece: “And then I was embraced with softness, graced with wonder and gifted new eyes to see beauty. I was awakened.”
